We are excited to welcome our new mascot, Amber the dog, to White House Lodge. Amber loves the Isle of Coll just as much as her owner and cannot wait to return! Why not treat your own doggie companion to a break in the Isle of Coll? We love it when our visitors bring their dogs, which is why we only charge £15 per dog per week!
White House Lodge is an award winning 19th Century farm workers cottage converted into a luxury, modern, hi-spec self-catering holiday cottage. Available for short lets, throughout the year.

Latest Feature- Scotland on Sunday
Another exciting article for White House Lodge, featuring in Scotland on Sunday's insert, Homes & more. 'Beyond the bothy', is the title, followed on by the story of how our wonderful property was renovated. Starting out originally intended as a family holiday home, White House Lodge ended up being too nice not to share. Fiona, ( Homes & more writer) continues on discussing the build from when it was just a thought, challenges along the way, such as distance and time, right down to the finished project. You can read Fiona's full article here and check out the full story for yourself.

New Lights For a Darker Sky!
We are delighted to announce that in keeping with the new Dark Skies status on the Isle of Coll, we have changed all our outdoor lights to minimise light pollution. Any previous visitors will know that we had up and down lighting on the exterior walls. We have replaced the previous fixtures with down lights, keeping you safe but increasing your view of our beautiful night sky. Enjoy!!

White House Lodge Features in National TV Ad!
We were delighted to be asked by Nordan Windows to feature images of White House Lodge's windows in their upcoming TV ad campaign. Nordan feel that our windows are a perfect example of how their hi-spec windows can fit into a very traditional property on the exterior, yet fit in with a stunning modern interior - we're just happy to see our property on TV! See that ad on STV in the next few weeks or here >>>

2016 Season Starts!
The 2016 season has finally started with our first guests of the year enjoying a break of great weather, deserted beaches and some great food in the Isle of Coll Hotel.
We’ve made some improvements to the property this year, Coll has also had some exciting developments including Vodafone 4G, the amendments to the ferry timetable including better ferry predictions on sailings and cancellations. The An Cridhe Community Centre has also some exciting new amenities and Events for the coming year.
In the property we have now added Netflix, purchased four more dining chairs to avoid having to use bar stools when it is a full house. We've replaced the temperamental dishwasher, added a washing line and even managed to do a full clean of the chandelier – we had to buy scaffolding to achieve this but the result is spectacular!

Winter Ferry Timetable Amends
We are delighted that there is now a Monday ferry throughout the year. Previously there was some strange anomaly which meant that for a few weeks every winter the island was without a Monday ferry. This caused inconvenience for our guests since it meant Winter bookings has to be carefully made to ensure that there actually was a ferry on the day they wished to arrive.

New review- Absolutely Perfect!
Taken from Tripadvisor :
White House Lodge and the Island of Coll were perfect from start to finish. The house is amazing and big enough to accommodate, Four teenagers and three adults without us bumping in to each other. The house was very clean and everything you could need was there. White House Lodge was a very luxurious place to stay. You won't be disappointed at the quality of everything in the house.
The waves were amazing for body boarding and we highly recommend going to see Carole in the town to hire Kayaks or purchase some of the unusual items she sells.
The community centre was great for any rainy days as you can hire part of the hall for a couple of hours, to play table tennis, short tennis or basket ball. We were lucky that a Ceilidh took place while we were there and that was just such a good night. I thought four teenagers might get bored on a small Island with limited things to do, but they had a ball and they all said they would love to go back. And so would I
